Current Situation

 

Bahrain is located in the Persian Gulf, Bahrain is bordered by Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Bahrain's economy depends largely on oil exports, but also houses large multinational firms. Political unrest in 2011 and 2012 as hurt the economy temporarily, normal economic activity is slowly returning.
