Current Situation

Mongolia is located in Central Asia. Mongolia is bordered by China and Russia. Mongolia's economy is based largely on the agricultural and mining sectors. GDP growth is high, however a majority of Mongolia's people are still nomadic or semi-nomadic.

(2014) Mongolia's economy continued its strong growth in 2013, and this thrend should continue with the opening of the Oyu Tolgoi mine in 2013 which should have a major positive impact on Mongolia's exports.
